25th Nov -2nd December Weather Forecast W Yorks and yonder

leave a comment »

Some regions may see prolonged spells of precipitation as NW England and Scotland experienced the last time we had these weather factors from 17th May this year, when high speed gales raged as well…….I only have 80% confidence in this phase forecast due to wind charts not playing ball with moisture charts!

25th Freezing conditions with record lows could be too cold to rain but expect frosty ground with some sun spells for daytime. 26th Cold, frosty risk of icy showers in the afternoon but generally some sun spells as well. Could be blustery breezes for us as well
27th Some winter showers arrive from midnight to early this morning especially to western regions Freezing but dry and sunny day some icy air flows
28th Similar to yesterday but risk of icy showers late evening frosty conditions prevail overall.
29th Risk of showers before sunrise sunshine during the day
30th Misty or cloudy start risk of drizzle spells during day clearing by evening temps less severe but still icy
1st Daytime seems sunshine with cloud but evening there is likelihood of showery outbreaks heavy at times
2nd Returns to cold icy and quite frankly brass monkeys should beware….

Please remember these forecasts are long range, produced in July  using the very accurate system of astrology- astro meterology,  and any errors or inaccuracies are due to my own application of a very credible and ancient system of forecasting weather.

Feedback 18th Nov-25th Nov W Yorks and yonder…

with 3 comments

The overall July write up for this phase, less icy than expected and less precipiation than expected also, but I was 85-90% accurate overall, with floods affecting the River Nith in Galloway on 18th and road warnings galore for that region of Dumfries reported by Sally traffic on BBC radio 2……the sunshine I forecast also came through thank goodness after all those mists and mizzles that looked like staying around forever…..I expect these to return in February though so don’t expect to see the last of these for W Yorks and yonder. Happily one TV company abided by my advice to be warned that 21st Nov might not be a good time to film at night when looking for the north star, and made alternative arrangments instead….well done!

The worst of the weather for us on 20th was fog, then thicker fog by afternoon just when we thought it would clear off from our roads as it did on Saturday…herrumph…..pea soup looks set to return in spite of ”scientists” saying if we get rid of industrial pollution we’ll have no thick fog …HUMmmmm
The flash floods were out in Sicily but I’m still awaiting forecast results for today and tomorrow to find out how accurate this part of my forecast was…..the severe gales are already raging in N Ireland and Scotland. The snow doesn’t seem to have arrived yet, but it is cold enough, and in Scotland it was expected for the end of this week….Netweather forecast wintry showers for this end of the week as well…..we can only await the outcome for tomorrow…..

The earthquake I saw looks like the 6.2 in Hokkaido Japan, but Fiji had a 5.1 today 24th as well, I expect another one to hit the headlines throughout today 24th Nov……haven’t time to spend locating these and doing weather sadly………it takes time to time events using astrology and millions of threads of astronomical and mathematical data, as I’m not looking into a crystal ball….

Here’s the local W Yorks and Yonder outcome

18th We got spray halfway along my street at 9 30 am approx but dry beyond that little micro rainfall….you just can’t get the weather to fall properly nowadays, like leaves on railway tracks and snow the wrong design, rain comes and goes regardless….a weak sun broke through the mists eventually and we were mainly dry
19th Misty am again the sun broke through by mid day I registered only 55F on a much cooler day today
20th Thick fog all day long with early drizzly spells and again by 2 30 pm and late evening as well, with temps less icy than yesterday so yes less severe as forecast, but I forecast icier temps to start with!
21st The drizzle continued into morning leaving a foggy start until late morning some drizzle and mizzle around again 9 am
22nd Mizzle at start and fog again, dry day to follow with sun out in the afternoon, the strong winds arrived for Scotland and N Ireland today bringing more rain for those regions…failed to find any flood news for today so my forecast was wrong for floods to arrive today….but I did warn for over following days so lets see what arrives ….
23rd weather disrupted travel for Carnac NW Scotland, disrupting seagoing vessels especially…here it wasa dry day after a cloudy start and no breeze to mention….The snow expected for North Scotland
24th More warnings of travel disruption coming in for Scotland, at Stornaway, Bute and surroundings ares…and this will move down as the day progresses, in W Yorks we are dry, some sunshine and clouds around…….breezes getting sporadically livelier as ay wears on……sadly I have to post this before getting more weather restuls to coonfirm accuracy for the weather outcome to get worse by tomorrow bringing in the flood reports…A wind alert is out over the Highlands and Eilean Siar for today moving around to the Orkneys later and these areas are on flood alert: Argyll and Bute, Caithness and Sutherland, Orkney , Shetland Skye and Lochaber, Wester Ross, Western Isles .
25th As I’m posting this on 24th to try catch up with all my weather work for winter season, I can’t post the oucome for today but have looked up whether floods are on alert and got only a negative on this forecast………this was on the environment agencies website on 24th however…. ”The overall coastal flood risk is LOW for Norfolk tomorrow (Fri 25 November) as a large surge is expected on the East coast of England, with a risk of some localised property flooding for some coastal communities. Elsewhere the flood risk remains VERY LOW for the next 3 days. ”

18th-25th November
Another Supermoon period extremely close with EQ potential on 24th so an eventful time on the weather globe…… I expect heavy levels of precipitation in a short space of time and flood for some regions of the UK, we can also expect some sunshine along with the showers though so not all is lost….22nd is a very unsettled day and heralds bad conditions….but some of the worst of the weather is expected by 20th and severe conditions raging 22 -24th Flash flood likely with drains overflowing and under stress….don’t go potholing as underground caverns will be treacherous at this time…..but Caves and falls  at Ingleborough should look stupendous with this amount of rain gushing out of them….. Some sunshine between showers to start, but gets worse as days ear on for this phase….some real weather spectacles around…
18th Icy cold frost snow still on ground with risk of more showers mid day and evening some sun spells during the day could be freezing fogs and mists around by evening….EQ alert for next few days
19th Sunshine and showers mostly, slightly milder temps (but still cold) to allow slight thaw N W prevail but some south and easterly flows can add to the mix auguring unsettled conditions to arrive.
20th EQ seimicity still active some sunny spells today temps less sever, winter showers 2-4am and later at night from 23;00 when they can be prolonged
22nd Winter showers around from last night into early morning becoming intermittent. Strong winds around if not blizzards to some regions and these can be prevalent over next few days…. be on a weather alert for this weather before making unnecessary journeys…
23rd Very heavy downpours, this looks like more snow,  from early morning and prolonged, moving around UK bringing flash floods that hit the headlines due to overworked drains and overflow basins…..Expect a lot of precip in a short space of time to cause these floods…
25th Freezing again and some record lows achieved in parts of UK so roads will be icy and dangerous take care…..

Although it is possible to get consistently highly accurate forecasts using astrology I need to point out that any less than 100% accuracy is due to my own failings in having time or capacity to apply the rules of astrology rather than any flaws with the method of forecasting…….The above forecast was done in July so some of the icy conditions may not be as harsh as predicted given we are experiencing a much milder autumn than last year.

FEEDBACK 10th-18 Nov W Yorks and Beyond

leave a comment »

Apart from 12th this phase was misty foggy and for 10th, 11th and 13th there were mists and mizzly rain. Temps were not icy as forecast back in July, and it was only 17th that saw and end to hazy condtions with sunshine returning to cheer everyone up at last. There was little if any wind or breeziness, so there were certainly a lot of factors that I didn’t look at more carefully back in July for this phase that would have given a better forecast……..must try harder next time!!

10th-18th Nov W Yorks and Yonder Weather

10th-18th November
Outlook is windy again but the extra icy Siberian lows arrive from now on into December…….Snow around from outset of this phase…

A quick tour for this phase gives icy conditions strong windy weather with wet spells with southern half of England getting the worst of the conditions. Snow sleet and winter showers along with westerlies expected for 11th before sunrise, fairer outlook 12-14th, but some gusty westerlies around 13th hail showers around. and freezing conditions.
15th Looks stormy but milder temps and more winter showers continuing into early 16th with tiny let up in iciness,  Strong gusty westerlies from 17th very icy conditions from 18th with cold making record levels for headlines no doubt for South UK for this phase……Note that predominantly freezing conditions rule this phase……

2nd-10th November W Yorks and Yonder Weather

FEEDBACK 2nd -10th Nov
2nd we got early showers some sunshine with cloud but showers again by 8-9 pm so not a bad forecast
3rd heavy downpours 4 am and then 3-4 pm so again reasonable accurate
4th cloudy start clearing by 11 45 am as expected no showers here, but may have been some in other localities in our region
5th dry day with sun spells and no showery spells so the forecast was out
6th dry again but the icy pockets were keenly noticed so this part was accurate
7th cold start sun with a little cloud late eveing shower –my forecast for today was one day early for tomorrow>>
8th mists mizzles and foggy day with drizzly spells
9th same as yesterday but the fog clearing earlier we got less rain and dirzzle and I’m not sure where the t/storm occurred due to lack of time to look it up,

though this system was moving up from the south along the west coast and up to Scotland by Thursday 10th, so not too way out with the weather theme I

10th begins cloudy some light mistiness around and damp air 11 am
80% accuracy due to being a day out of sync with two forecasts but overall a good forecast for the weather themes we experienced.

2nd-10th November
Weather system hitting N and W Scotland from first two days of this phase and we can expect unsettled weather with heavy precipitation at times along with

thundery outbreaks for some regions….again! Might be wrong….
2nd as above
3rd Intermittent sudden showers potential for snow for exposed places, but we get some sunshine along with icy pockets
4th Misty or cloudy start clearing later in the day still very cold with risk of winter showers
5th Seasonal lows arriving, intermittent showery periods
6th Very heavy precipitation expected, icy cold, late at night winter showers arriving…
7th Mists mizzle and drizzle travels eastwards, cloudy day
8th-10th Strong risk of very heavy downpours, thunderstorms for some localities with a system moving around UK from 8th, extremely icy conditions and winter showers could bring snow for us by 9th.  I expect headline making weather for this event, could be SE winds bringing in snow blizzards and other nasty weather conditions that creates problems….
